Maidstone RCMP is investigating an attempted armed robbery at a residence in Paynton.

Police say officers received a report of the incident around 4:50 p.m. on March 4. A group of individuals allegedly approached a residence in the community and threatened an occupant with a firearm before leaving the area in a maroon truck.
The victim did not report any physical injuries to police.
As a result of the investigation, 62-year-old Holly Gordon of Paynton has been charged with pointing a firearm and robbery with a firearm under the Criminal Code.

Police have issued a warrant for Gordon’s arrest and say officers are actively working to locate her.
Gordon is described as approximately five feet two inches tall, weighing about 138 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.
Investigators are also working to identify other suspects believed to be involved in the incident. Police say the group includes three females and one male. The male is described as about six feet seven inches tall with a thin build.
The suspects were last seen in a maroon mid-2010s Dodge Ram quad cab truck near Table Mountain.
