The City of Lloydminster is seeking residents interested in serving on one of two committees responsible for sponsorship and fundraising for the proposed new event arena.
Sponsorship
The sponsorship committee is responsible for developing sponsorship packages and selling sponsorship opportunities to businesses funding the new event arena project. The committee will work closely with the fundraising committee to ensure both committees support major initiatives.
Those interested in applying to serve on the sponsorship committee are asked to complete the sponsorship committee application form. The deadline to apply is Monday, Feb. 14. Before applying, interested parties are encouraged to review the terms of reference.
Fundraising
The fundraising committee is responsible for developing initiatives to fundraise for the arena project. The fundraising committee will focus on fundraising opportunities such as events, auctions, and other fundraising initiatives that engage the community. The committee will work closely with the sponsorship committee to ensure both committees support major initiatives.
