Maidstone RCMP is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect and a vehicle connected to gas thefts in Lashburn.

Police say an individual drove to a local business on March 16, pumped fuel into a truck and left without paying. Investigators believe the same individual may also be responsible for a similar incident at the business on March 9.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer-model white Chevrolet crew cab with what appears to be a broken taillight. Police have released a photo of the truck.

The suspect is described as a slim-built male, possibly a youth or young adult. He was wearing jeans, a dark hoodie with a large white logo or design on the back and dark shoes, and may have a moustache.

Maidstone RCMP continue to investigate.

Anyone who recognizes the truck or the individual, or who has information about the incidents, is asked to contact Maidstone RCMP by dialling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
