The following community calendar events are scheduled to take place in and around the Lloydminster region in the coming weeks.
April 11
Islay Doubles Crib: The Islay Community Association hosts a doubles crib tournament at the Islay Community Hall. Doors open at 9 a.m. with registration closing at 10 a.m. Entry is $25 per person and includes lunch. Pre-register by calling Linda at 780-581-0570.

April 12
Moose Lodge Crib: The Lloydminster Moose Lodge hosts its final doubles cribbage tournament of the season. Registration runs from 9 to 9:45 a.m. with play starting at 10 a.m. Cost is $25 per player, including lunch and a 12-game guarantee. A $500 first prize is featured. Entries close April 10. April 13
Legacy Canasta: The Legacy Centre in Lloydminster hosts a canasta tournament starting at 10 a.m. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. Entry is $25 per person and includes lunch. For more information, call the Legacy office at 780-875-4584.
April 16
Spades Tournament: A spades tournament is being held at the Legacy Centre starting at 10 a.m. Entry is $10 per person to play, with lunch available for an additional $12. Everyone is welcome. Call 780-875-4584 for details.
April 18
Morgan Wallen Tribute: The Vic Juba Community Theatre in Lloydminster hosts a tribute to Morgan Wallen at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased online or at the theatre box office.
April 19
Islay Jamboree: The Islay Community Hall hosts a jamboree at 1 p.m. Admission is $15 for spectators and free for participants. Lunch will be served. For more information, call Dixie at 780-744-2204.
April 25
Electronics Roundup & Cookie Sale: The Girl Guides of Lloydminster will be at the Lloydminster Exhibition Grounds from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. collecting electronic recycling and selling cookies. Funds raised will support the group’s 2027 trip to Europe.
April 28
Ron James: Canadian comedian Ron James brings his tour to the Vic Juba Community Theatre. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $81.25 and available at the box office or online.
May 3
Potters’ Guild Sale: The Lloydminster Potters Guild holds its annual spring sale at the Lloydminster Museum and Archives from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event features handcrafted pottery and a chance to meet local artisans.
