Price, who brings more than 20 years of experience with the Government of Alberta in emergency management and strategic planning, will present a session titled Clear Communications When it Matters Most.
Her presentation will address critical operational challenges during major incidents, focusing on how agencies can prevent overloaded radio channels, avoid competition for airtime and maintain clear lines of communication as incidents escalate.
In her role with AFRRCS, Price leads strategic initiatives aimed at building stakeholder partnerships, strengthening system resilience and ensuring first responders have reliable communications equipment and confidence during crises. Her background also includes extensive work in land-use planning, environmental frameworks and FireSmart program development.
The two-day conference returns on Oct. 14 and 15 at the Lloydminster Exhibition Association’s WLS Convention Centre under the theme “Beyond the Expected.” The event brings together emergency responders, municipal leaders and industry experts and features an interactive trade show alongside networking opportunities.
Regular conference admission is available for $300 until Sept. 7, with single-day passes listed at $150 and specialized group packages also on offer.
