A 35-year-old Unity, Sask., man is facing multiple criminal charges after fleeing an early morning traffic stop and crashing into another vehicle in Saskatoon last week.

Saskatchewan RCMP said an officer received a report at about 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 21 regarding a possible impaired and speeding driver on Circle Drive.
The officer pulled the vehicle over, but the driver fled before a mandatory alcohol screening test could be administered.
A short time later, the officer discovered the suspect vehicle had collided with another vehicle near the intersection of Circle Drive East and Idylwyld Drive North.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, but officers located and arrested him shortly after. Saskatoon Police Service officers and EMS attended the scene and no serious injuries were reported.
Drew Taylor Pratt has been charged with:
- Operation of a conveyance while impaired
- Operation of a conveyance with a blood-alcohol concentration over .08
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Flight from a peace officer
Pratt is scheduled to make his first appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Oct. 5.
The Saskatoon Police Service is leading the investigation into the collision.
