The Lloydminster Construction Association (LCA) is gearing up for its annual clay shoot event on Sept. 18, inviting community members, local businesses and outdoor enthusiasts out for a day of friendly competition at the Hidden Ridge Range in the County of Vermilion River.

The event, open to both LCA members and the general public, features an afternoon of sporting clays alongside networking opportunities for local trades and crews.
Registration opens at 11 a.m., with shooting scheduled to begin at noon. Participant entry includes morning coffee and muffins, a pizza lunch on the course and a steak barbecue supper to cap off the day, along with prizes and raffles.
Organizers welcome both individual participants and complete teams, noting that shooters of all experience levels can participate. Attendees are required to bring their own firearms and transportation.
