HOZACK: James (Jim) Albert Hozack passed away, surrounded by family, at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, SK on July 21, 2025 at the age of 96 years. Jim is lovingly remembered by his children: Colleen Hozack, Rick (Cindy) Hozack, Eileen (Dale Wagner) Hines, Brian (Shelly) Hozack; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and 2 sisters-in-law, Pauline Tyner and Joan Stade. Jim was predeceased by: his wife of over 60 years, Muriel Hozack; son-in-law, Lyle Hines; parents, Albert and Margaret Hozack; siblings, Pat (Bid) Bibaud, Jack (Helen) Hozack, Betty (Maurice) Gurney, Gordon (Doreen) Hozack; father and mother-in-law, John and Elsie Tyner; siblings-in-law, Jack Tyner, Bob (Marion) Tyner, Mary (Johnny) Bareson, Norah (Don) Sked, and Eileen (Dale) Spence. The funeral service for Jim was conducted from Marwayne, AB on Monday, July 28, 2025. The internment was held at the Streamstown Cemetery, Streamstown, AB. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Jim’s family would like to thank all those who were able to attend the service, shared their sympathy with cards, words of condolence, flowers, and food. A special thank you to the Lloydminster Hospital nurses and doctors for the care and comfort they provided Dad while in the hospital.
