Kitscoty RCMP hosting town hall to talk rural crime prevention

Kitscoty RCMP invites the public to a town hall at 7 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Village of Kitscoty council chambers.

Topics of discussion will be focused on rural crime reduction and a guest speaker will share crime-prevention strategies with attendees.

Information packages regarding tracking valuables and information regarding online crime reporting and rural crime watch will be available. Community Assisted Policing Through Use of Recorded Evidence (CAPTURE) will also be discussed.

The evening will also include an open forum for attendees to ask questions.
