Regina “Jean” Angeline Balfour

Balfour: It is with sad hearts, the family announces the passing of their mother, Regina “Jean” Angeline Balfour of Red Deer, Alberta. Jean passed away on January 25th, 2023, at the age of 95 years. She is now at home with our Lord. Jean was born July 19th, 1927 to Martin and Regina Pernitsky. She leaves to mourn her passing and is lovingly remembered by her four children; Reg (Susan), Dwayne (Dianne) of Lloydminster, Alberta, Dean and Cheryl of Red Deer, Alberta, plus five grandchildren; Jaret, Jordan (Meghan), Matthew (Amy), Kylie (Chad), Cody (Ashley), as well as five great grandchildren; Zachary, Krew, Carter, Kage and great granddaughter Lily. She is also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Jean will be remembered by her four sisters; Agatha Pernitsky, Loretta Gordon, Elenor Lowry and Lorraine Werbics, as well as sisters-in-law, Joyce and Marguerite. Jean was predeceased by her husband Ira, parents Martin and Regina Pernitsky, and grandson Keenan at one month old. She was also predeceased by her three brothers; Leo, Eugene and Ben Pernitsky. Jean, you will be deeply missed by all your family and cherished forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace. A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
