Hickman: Rosamond “Charmaine” passed away at Maidstone Health Complex, Maidstone, SK on October 3, 2023 at the age of 91 years. Charmaine leaves in memory: her loving children, Deborah (Brian) Beaton, Cheryl (Earl) Oborowsky, Lorne (Kathy) Hickman, Edward (Laurie) Hickman, Barbara (Larry) Farrell, Gerald (Sandy Koshman) Hickman; grandchildren, Trevor (Cheryl) Beaton, Tyson (Heather Mackenzie) Beaton, Ayleigh (Grant) Stoughton, Chad (Tara) Oborowsky, Lauren (Shawn) Nyholt, Lynnette (Kevin) Tatton, Christopher (Kristin) Hickman, Adam (Michelle) Hickman, Lisa (Scott) Simons, Charmaine (Cory Hoffman) Hickman, Steven (Amanda) Hickman, Danielle (Jesse) Eppen , Carmen (Casey) Leonardi, Michelle Farrell, Chelsea (Kevin) Wilson and Leaha (Tate) Severson; 36 great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends. Charmaine was predeceased by: her loving husband, George Hickman; her parents, Paul & Rose Bertrand; parents-in-law, Jack & Ethel Hickman; brothers, Leo Bertrand and Louis Bertrand; and sister-in-law, Joy Lesuik. The Funeral Service for Charmaine was conducted from Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Paradise Hill, SK on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. The interment was held at Tangleflags Cemetery, Tangleflags, SK. Donations in memory of Charmaine may be made to the donor’s charity of choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The Hickman family would like to thank McCaw Funeral Services and especially Glenn, for their caring and respectful handling of mom’s funeral. Thank you also to the wonderful staff at the Maidstone Hospital for the care they gave us all during her final days. We thank the staff at Dr. James Hemstock Residence for the care given over the last several years. Thank you to Deacon Michael Hall and Father Peter Paase as well as the choir and parishioners of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church for a wonderful funeral and lunch. To all who came to honor our mom, your loving support was greatly appreciated.
