Simons: Albert Edmund Simons passed away at the Pioneer House Lloydminster Alberta on April 6, 2024 at the age of 95 years. Memorial service was conducted from St. John’s Anglican Church in Lloydminster Saskatchewan on Monday, April 15, 2024. Burial was held at Tangleflags cemetery.

Albert is survived by: his 8 children, Rod (Marcia) Simons, Darlene Simons, Michael (Linda) Simons, Leigh Simons, Greg Simons (Stewart), Wendy (Brian) Wack, Glenda (Gilbert) Hardes, Randy Simons; 19 grandchildren, Kevin (Lauren) Simons, Scott (Lisa) Simons, Trish Cousins (Matt), Trina Zirrie (Neal), Alana (Konan) Kublik, Chrissy (Eugene) Harwood, Brad (Ashley) Simons, Nicholas (Tatsiana) Simons, Philip (Emily) Simons, Bryna (Mansour) Osman, Curtis Wack, Kyle Wack (Olivia), Victoria (Michael) Hollis, Joshua (Samantha) Wack, Janine Wack, Melody (Danny) Rosin, Jason (Jaime) Hardes, Cole (Danielle) Hardes, Ben (Kayla) Hardes; 33 great-grandchildren; brother, David Simons; his former wife, Ruby Simons and her children; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Albert was predeceased by: mother to his children, Hazel Morris; parents, Edmund and Beatrice Simons; grandson, Michael W. Simons; daughter-in-law, Roberta Simons; sisters, Doreen Grahn and Betty Harbin; brothers-in-law, Stan Grahn and Don Harbin; sister-in-law, Hazel Simons; and special uncle, Sid Simons.
