A liquid asphalt spill in early July caused significant disruption to local traffic patterns as 52 St. was closed.
Earlier this morning, ASL Construction, the company leading the repair of the roadway, provided some relief by partially opening the roadway.
The northern-most lane of the roadway is open around the immediate construction area. The rest of the roadway, from 50th to 59th Ave., is reduced to one lane in each direction.
A temporary traffic light is controlling east-west traffic around the site.
There is no update as to when the full roadway will be re-opened to traffic.
