A 36-year-old teacher from Bonnyville is facing further charges after failing to comply with release orders.
Janelle Arnold was charged with child luring and invitation to sexual touching in late October and was to appear in court on Nov. 7.
Following Arnold’s original arrest, Bonnyville RCMP discovered she had contacted two youth from New Zealand via social media. Arnold then sent money and gifts to the youths.
Bonnyville RCMP have now charged Arnold with the:
- Fail to comply with Release Order
Arnold has been remanded. She is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Wainwright.
