Woman arrested after McDonald’s stabbing

Lloydminster RCMP attended to the McDonald’s on 50 Ave. mid-afternoon on Jan. 6 for reports of a stabbing. The restaurant was closed for a short period due to the incident.

An RCMP spokesperson confirmed a female inside the restaurant stabbed a male individual. The reason for the incident is unknown.

A woman was arrested after a search involving a K9 unit and multiple officers.

Emily Rogers, 25, from Edmonton, was held in custody awaiting a court appearance.
