Police say a man with a firearm approached a vehicle with two women inside. He threatened them and stole the vehicle.

One woman escaped and was not physically injured. Frenchman was still inside when the suspect drove away, RCMP said.

“Investigators are concerned for her wellbeing and continue to actively investigate,” RCMP said in a statement.

Police believe Frenchman may be with the armed suspect. Initial findings suggest they did not know each other.

The suspect and Frenchman were last seen in a red 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix with Saskatchewan plate 186 NSA.

Frenchman is 5’6” tall and weighs 105 lbs. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

RCMP is working to identify the suspect and obtain a photo of Frenchman.
