KOEP: Rose Koep passed away at Lloydminster Hospital on Monday, December 2, 2024 at the age of 93 years.
Rose is survived by: her son, John and his wife, Kathy and grandson, Kristofer and his wife, Tagen and great-grandsons, Joe and Casey; grandson, Andrew and his wife, Chloe, son, Tom and granddaughter, MacKenzie and her husband, Kallan; grandsons, Connor (Celie) and Evan; and daughter, Sandra and grandson, Rene.
Rose was predeceased by: her loving husband, Jim Koep.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rose can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association or Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation – Home Care. The Memorial Service for Rose was conducted from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, AB on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10:30 AM.

Thank you to Dr. Stander, Dr. Thomas and Dr. Kostic for their care over the years; Lloydminster Home Care, especially Nathan & Cassandra; to the entire staff at Hearthstone Place and the residents who all showed great kindness to Mom. The nurses at the Lloydminster Hospital for Mom’s care during her last few days.
Special thanks to Reverend Alex Joseph and Deacon Michael Hall of St. Athony’s Parish for a beautiful service. Thank you to Pat Hankey, who also played piano for Dad’s service; to Linda Quilichini for her lovely voice; the CWL ladies for the honor guard and an amazing lunch; to Audina Hardstaff for the beautiful flower arrangements which had all of Mom’s favorites. To Joseph Koep (great-grandson) for being the urn bearer.
To all our friends who sent flowers, brought food, made donations, came for visits, sent cards, and encouraged us during a difficult time, we are truly blessed.
Lastly, thank you to McCaw Funeral Service and their entire staff for all their help and attention to detail. Your personal kindness is greatly appreciated.
