CAMPBELL: Rob Campbell, of Lloydminster, AB. passed away from cancer in the Lloydminster Hospital on January 28th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 75 years old. Rob was born on May 9th, 1949, to Ruthe and Raymond Campbell in Kipling, Saskatchewan. His family moved to Lloydminster when Rob was eight years old and it was here that he spent the rest of his life. He graduated from SIAST as a Journeyman in Autobody, and opened Campbell’s Autobody in 1975. He then managed Noyes’ Autobody for over twenty-three years. He was also a very skilled carpenter, who built many homes, including one for his family in 1974 and another in 2006 where he and Ann would live for the next 18 years. Rob married Ann Kemp in 1970 who survives him. He is also survived by his son, Kirk and his wife, Andrea; son, Kim and his wife, Naomi; and son, Danny and his wife Ashley. He was a loving grandfather to Darbey, Victoria, Konor, Kole, Bronwyn and Samuel. Rob was predeceased by his parents – Ruthe and Raymon Campbell, brothers – Curtis, Orlyn and Harley, and Ann’s parents – Jack and Joyce Kemp. The funeral service was conducted from First Baptist Church, Lloydminster, on February 3, 2025. The family wishes to thank Rob’s friends, Evan Bottomley and Peter Johnston for the wonderful eulogy, Pastor Doug Baynton for his message, and the Lloydminstrels for their special song. They were directed by Eva Miller and accompanied by Pam Rollheiser.
