A major drug investigation in Cold Lake has led to multiple arrests in one of the largest drug seizures in the area.
The Cold Lake RCMP General Investigations Section (GIS) worked with multiple law enforcement agencies on Project K-NANOSECOND. The goal was to dismantle a drug trafficking network operating in Cold Lake and surrounding communities.
On Feb. 25, police executed six search warrants at different locations. These included three homes and a commercial property in Cold Lake, a residence in Ardmore, and a dwelling in Edmonton. Multiple units, including Lloydminster ALERT, Edmonton ALERT, and RCMP teams, assisted in the operation.
