Lloydminster Mayor Gerald Aalbers asked why the three individuals’ terms were ending at the beginning of May 2027.
“This aligns with the AGM schedule for the Vic Juba Community Theatre and so appointments can be made at their AGM in April. Reappointments can happen after that,” said Tracy Simpson, executive manager, community development services.
Kathy Paniak, Melanie Mutter and Timothy Van Staden were all reappointed to the board for a term of two years starting May 20 and ending May 1, 2027.
Paniak has served on the board four years, Mutter has served three years and Van Staden has served two years.
