Three people are facing multiple charges after Meadow Lake RCMP seized methamphetamine, cocaine and weapons during a traffic stop on Thunderchild First Nation.

According to RCMP, officers with Meadow Lake RCMP Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan spotted an SUV matching the description of a stolen vehicle at 5:45 p.m. on May 11. Police activated emergency equipment and conducted a traffic stop.
Investigation determined the SUV had been reported stolen and officers arrested the vehicle’s three occupants.
Police said a subsequent search of the SUV led to the seizure of 94 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, an imitation firearm and other weapons.
As a result, 26-year-old Micayla Jimmy, 35-year-old Ashton Martell and 27-year-old Tariq Nicotine, all from Thunderchild First Nation, are each charged with possession of an imitation firearm in the commission of an offence, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine.
Jimmy also faces an additional charge of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and two counts of failing to comply with a court order.
The accused appeared in Onion Lake Provincial Court on May 13.
