Ice cream lovers in Lloydminster can satisfy their sweet tooth for a good cause on Thursday, Aug. 13, as Dairy Queen locations take part in Miracle Treat Day.

On Aug. 13, 100 per cent of net proceeds from every Blizzard sold at participating Dairy Queen restaurants will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals across Canada.
For Lloydminster residents, purchases directly benefit regional paediatric care. Donations raised at local stores stay in the province to support the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation in Saskatchewan, as well as the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, providing life-saving equipment, specialized medical programs, and critical care for sick and injured children.
Over the past two decades, Canadian Dairy Queen franchises have raised millions of dollars to aid children’s hospitals and care facilities nationwide.
Community members are encouraged to visit their local Lloydminster Dairy Queen on Thursday to purchase a Blizzard and support local pediatric healthcare.
