The commemorative book celebrates the legacy of the Centennial Civic Centre (CCC), which served the community for 58 years before closing in December 2025. It captures decades of local ice sport history, highlighting the athletes, teams, and milestones that shaped the community.
The publication primarily features the historical mural once displayed in the CCC lobby, alongside supplementary records documenting local ice sports through to 2025.
Pre-orders are open until Nov. 24, priced at $33 plus GST per copy. Buyers can choose to pick up their orders at City Hall or have them shipped for an additional $20 per book.
Residents can preview a digital copy or download the publication via Lloydminster.ca/CCC, and a physical copy is available for viewing at City Hall. Following the project’s completion, a limited number of copies will also be available for public borrowing through the Lloydminster Public Library.
For more information or to request a copy, visit Lloydminster.ca/CCC or contact City Hall at 780-875-6184.
