From bingo nights and card tournaments to live music, golf and Seniors’ Week celebrations, Lloydminster and area residents have plenty of community events to look forward to throughout June.

Here’s a look at what’s happening in and around the Border City in the coming weeks.
Bingo at Moose Lodge
Bingo is back at Moose Lodge every Monday and Wednesday evening. Doors open at 5 p.m. and play begins at 7 p.m. Must be 18 years or older to play.
Southridge Playschool Registration Open
The Southridge Playschool and Kindergym Society has opened registration for the 2026-27 fall term for children ages three to five. One day a week is covered by a government affordability grant, while two days a week costs $325 for the full term. Seniors’ Week Celebrations at the Legacy
The Legacy Centre will host Seniors’ Week activities from June 1-5. Events include:
- Pancake breakfast — June 1 from 9-11 a.m.
- Lloydminstrels Choir spring tea — June 3 at 1:30 p.m.
- Legacy supper and dance — June 5 (advance tickets required)

Meridian Source Online Class
The Meridian Source team will host another online class at the Legacy Centre on June 4 from 9-11 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their phone or iPad.
Kaiser Tournament at the Legacy
The Legacy Centre is hosting a kaiser tournament on June 4 beginning at 10 a.m. Cost is $10 to play, with lunch available for $12 per person. Everyone is welcome. Call 780-875-4584 for more information.
Jake Vaadeland at the Vic Juba
Jake Vaadeland and the Sturgeon River Boys take the stage at the Vic Juba Community Theatre on June 7 at 7:30 p.m.
Annual Par 3 Legacy Golf Tournament
The Legacy Centre’s annual Par 3 golf tournament takes place June 9 at Rolling Green Fairways. All ages are welcome. Call 780-875-4584 to register.
General Meeting at the Legacy
The Lloydminster Senior Citizens Society general meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. on June 15 at the Legacy Centre. All members are encouraged to attend.
Spades Tournament
The Legacy Centre will host a spades tournament on June 18 starting at 10 a.m. Cost is $10 to play, with lunch available for $12 per person. Everyone is welcome.
Just Kruzin’ Annual Show & Shine
The Just Kruzin’ Specialty Vehicle Club’s annual Show & Shine takes place June 20 at the Cenovus Energy Hub. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
