Wainwright RCMP is appealing to the public for information and video footage following a trespassing and livestock shooting incident west of Wainwright late last month.

Mounties say that between the morning of Aug. 23 and noon on Aug. 24, someone unlawfully entered a pasture located roughly one mile west of Wainwright, along Highway 14.
Upon inspection, landowners discovered the remains of a harvested lamb, along with a second lamb that had been shot and injured.
Investigators are asking anyone who was driving along Highway 14 west of Wainwright during that timeframe to review dashcam footage for any suspicious activity.
