Alberta’s service Alberta and red tape reduction minister, Dale Nally, is in Las Vegas this week to promote the province’s newly regulated iGaming market and meet with international industry leaders.

Nally is attending the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) from Sept. 27 to Oct. 1 to showcase Alberta’s regulated online gambling framework, discuss player protections and explore social responsibility initiatives with regulators and business experts.
“Alberta has quickly become one of the most closely watched iGaming markets in North America,” Nally said in a statement. “G2E is an opportunity to showcase our made-in-Alberta approach, learn from leading experts and regulators, and bring those insights home as we continue strengthening player protections and building a responsible, competitive market.”
On Sept. 29, Nally was scheduled to participate in a panel discussion covering the provincial market launch before holding meetings and roundtables with industry stakeholders through mid-week. He will return to Edmonton on Thursday.
Alberta’s regulated iGaming market officially launched on July 13, 2026. According to government data, 31 iGaming websites were operating within the province’s regulated market as of Sept. 14.
