City officials are turning to the public to help shape the future of the Lloydminster Regional Archives.

A public survey launched by the City of Lloydminster seeks feedback to build a 20-year sustainable framework for local archival services. The online questionnaire remains open until Oct. 12 at 11:59 p.m.
The archives preserve historical records, photos, and stories documenting the history of Lloydminster and the surrounding region. Ownership and management of the collection were transferred to the city in 2020 from the Lloydminster and District Centennial Commemorative Association.
City officials say the engagement process will help address growing collection needs and changing community preferences for accessing services. Survey questions cover public satisfaction levels, preferred access methods, and priority subject areas for future preservation.
Community members can fill out the survey online at YourVoiceLloyd.ca/Archives. Paper copies are also available locally at City Hall (4420 50 Ave.) and the Lloydminster Museum + Archives (4207 44 St.).
