With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Beth Elaine Gordon Pike, beloved wife, mother, gramma, sister and friend. She passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 72.

Beth was born in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, the third daughter of Donald and Elizabeth Clifford Gordon. Her sisters, Burdine and Donna, welcomed her to the family. She attended school in Lloydminster and after graduation enrolled at NAIT in Edmonton earning a diploma in drafting and interior design. Beth married Gary Pike, her high school sweetheart in 1974, and together they raised twins Dallas and Quintin and daughter Kelly on the Pike family farm north of Lloydminster. They later lived in Lethbridge, Millarville and Cochrane before settling at Sandy Beach.

Beth had a talent for design and for making beautiful things. She loved sewing and crafting, cooking and baking, and her wonderfully decorated popcorn cakes were a highlight of many family celebrations. She cherished her Christmas traditions with Aunt Margaret such as creating cards, knitting tree ornaments and making her famous cheese ball. Beth was always up for a game of Scrabble, which she usually won. Above all, she adored her grandchildren and was proud of all of them and their achievements.

Beth is survived by her husband Gary, children Dallas (Katie) Pike and Quintin Pike (Cara Varzari), son-in-law Colin Midwood, grandchildren Mason Pike, Kya Varzari Pike, Denlin and Jorynn Midwood, sister Donna Gordon, sister-in-law Carol (Murray) Melnyk, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Beth was predeceased by her parents Donald and Elizabeth Clifford Gordon, her sister Burdine Gordon Lane, her daughter Kelly Lauren Pike Midwood and Aunt Margaret Gordon.
