The resilient stretch kicked off on Wednesday, Nov. 4, when the Bobcats faced a multi-goal deficit against the Bonnyville Pontiacs. Trailing 3-1 in the second period, Lloydminster mounted a roaring comeback, erupting for four unanswered goals in the final frame.
Emile Plourde led the charge with a pair of goals and an assist, AJ Tarnowski chipped in a goal and two helpers—including the game-winner at 17:06—and Jack Birch sealed the 5-3 triumph with an empty-netter with two seconds remaining. Goaltender Mark Djomo earned the victory with a stellar 41-save performance.
Momentum carried over to Friday, Nov. 6, at JDA Place as the Bobcats jumped out to a fast start against the Whitecourt Wolverines. Maxx Parfitt netted a pair of goals to power a 4-3 victory, backed by tallies from Rylan Wieler and Jaxan Hopko. Though Whitecourt pushed back with a late third-period goal from Parker Fitzgerald, Djomo and the Lloydminster defense held firm, with Djomo turning aside 27 shots to collect his second straight win between the pipes.
The Bobcats capped off the busy week on Saturday, Nov. 7, at GFL Twin Arena with a comfortable 5-2 win over the Devon Xtreme. Jaxan Hopko put on a playmaking clinic, dishing out four assists to steer the attack. Jack Ferguson, Rhett Romanchuk, Emile Plourde, Rylan Wieler, and Kael Screpnek all lit the lamp as Lloydminster built an early 3-2 lead in the opening period and never looked back, with goaltender Sam Madgett stopping 28 shots to secure the sweep.
