The Meridian Source can confirm reports of significant smell of propane/natural gas throughout the community. Reports started coming in around 5 p.m. to our publication.
We reached out to city staff for comment on the developing situation.
“No confirmation of source yet. (The) City has received several reports,” stated Leo Pare, director of communications. “Local utility companies are investigating. Lloyd Fire Department is on standby but not actively involved. We have not been advised of any risk to public safety.”
