Cold Lake RCMP is currently on scene at a three-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck, pick-up truck and an SUV near Cold Lake.
Cold Lake RCMP report one person suffered injuries after an SUV was driving on Highway 55 when a pickup truck attempted to turn onto Highway 897.
The SUV tried to avoid a crash but was unsuccessful and hit the truck. The impact sent the SUV into the path of an oncoming semi-truck with a flatbed.

The drivers of the transport truck and pickup escaped the collision with no injuries. However, EMS workers provided transport to one individual from the SUV. They suffered injuries the RCMP describe as non-life-threatening.
Police warn drivers to slow down and leave space in heavy snow. Poor weather reduces visibility and reaction time.
Roads in the area are now open and traffic is flowing normally.
