Oilers best Stars, face Panthers in final

The Edmonton Oilers are in the Stanley Cup Final after besting the Dallas Stars 4-1 in the Western Conference final.

The Oilers will once again face the reigning Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers in the rematch final. Game 1 is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, at 6 p.m. in Edmonton.

The 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs has been a wild ride for Oilers’ fans. Series wins over the Los Angeles Kings and the Vegas Golden Knights paved the road to the Conference Final.

Game 1 of the Stars’ series was a one-sided 6-3 win for Dallas on May 21 before the Oilers equalized with a 3-0 win on May 23. Edmonton came out swinging two days later with a 6-1 win on May 25 for a 2-1 series lead.

The Oilers kept the momentum going with 4-1 win on May 27 for a 3-1 series lead. The nail in the coffin was a 6-3 win in Dallas to close out the series.

Game 2, also played in Edmonton, is scheduled for Friday, June 6.

The series goes south to Florida for Game 3 and 4, scheduled for June 9 and 12. If necessary, Game 5 is scheduled for June 14 in Edmonton, Game 6 in Florida, and Game 7 would be played in Edmonton on June 20. All games are scheduled for 6 p.m.
