Lloydminster RCMP arrested Amanda Pirnak-Hladchuk, 39, after finding drugs, tobacco and a prohibited weapon during a recent search of a local property.
The Lloydminster resident faces charges including three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of cannabis with intention to sell or distribute and possession of unstamped tobacco products for the purpose of sale.

Lloydminster RCMP’s crime reduction unit executed a search warrant on July 4 at a property in Lloydminster, Sask., following tips received through Crime Stoppers.
Police say they seized about 10 grams of methamphetamine, 84 grams of cocaine, small amounts of psilocybin and MDMA, cannabis, 70 cartons of unstamped tobacco and a set of brass knuckles.
“This warrant is part of our continued commitment to targeting drug trafficking and associated criminal activity in our community,” said Const. Jason DeCoste of the Lloydminster RCMP crime reduction unit. “The seizure of these dangerous substances helps reduce the threat to public safety.”
Police released Pirnak-Hladchuk on conditions. She is scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Sept. 15.
RCMP continue to ask the public to report information about suspected drug trafficking or other criminal activity.
