Friday, Sept. 12

LABIS 9th annual Slo-Pitch Tournament

The Lloydminster and Area Brain Injury Society (LABIS) is hosting its ninth annual slo-pitch tournament at the Lashburn Ball Diamonds from Sept. 12-14. The event will include beer gardens and a concession, and all proceeds support LABIS. Go cheer on your favourite team!

Saturday, Sept. 13

Border Town H.O.G. Chapter Toy Run

The Border Town Harley Owners Group’s 14th annual Toy Run in support of Lloydminster and area children’s charities is this Saturday (Sept. 13). The day starts with a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and registration is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Kickstands go up at 11:30 a.m. sharp. The event also features a post-ride dinner and dance at the Lloyd Ex’s WLS Convention Centre. The evening will include a live auction and entertainment by Playing With Fire. Tickets for the dinner and dance at $50. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner is at 6 p.m., the live auction is at 8 p.m. and the dance starts at 9 p.m.

Fall Fest by the City of Lloydminster

The City of Lloydminster is hosting Fall Fest on Saturday, Sept. 13 from noon to 5 p.m. at Bud Miller All Seasons Park. The family-friendly event will feature bounce castles, face painting, kids’ games, fall scene photo opportunities, a craft tent and games, horse and wagon rides and live music. Attendees can also test their skllls on the obstacle attraction from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Walk of Remembrance

The 2025 Walk of Remembrance (in honour of World Suicide Prevention Day) is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Bud Miller All Seasons Park Picnic Shelter. The event starts at 3 p.m. and will include guest speaker Charlene Rowein, COO SPARK Foundation Lloydminster.

Wainwright Centennial Clock Celebration

The Wainwright Centennial Clock Celebration is scheduled for Sept. 13 at 220 1st St. The event starts at 2:30 p.m. with a military march and a barbecue and live music will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29 at 4 p.m. This event marks the 100th anniversary of the tower’s unveiling, which honoured those who served in the World Wars and other missions.
