Lloydminster Fire Rescue are currently on scene of a structure fire in the 3200 block of 50 Ave. adjacent to Highway 17.
Heavy black smoke could be seen billowing across the city skyline around 3 p.m. on Oct. 15. It was coming from a structure in the backyard of a home.

Emergency services attended the area and blocked a section of 50 Ave. to allow firefighters to work.
Crews remain on scene at this hour. There is no word on cause or if anyone was injured at this time.
