Onion Lake RCMP say officers conducted a proactive traffic stop at about 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 29. Investigators determined the lone occupant and driver was in breach of court-ordered conditions stemming from an August 2026 drug trafficking investigation, and she was arrested at the scene.

A search of the vehicle yielded approximately 28 grams of methamphetamine, a small quantity of cocaine, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Later that day, police executed a search warrant at a residence on the Cree Nation as part of the ongoing investigation. Officers recovered an additional 400 grams of methamphetamine, 60 grams of cocaine, a sum of cash, two airguns, a knife and further drug paraphernalia.

Raven Heathen of Onion Lake is charged with:

  • One count of failing to comply with a release order condition

  • One count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

  • One count of possession for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine)

  • One count of possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
