Emergency crews responded to a structure fire in the 4600 block of 50 St. at about 5 p.m. on Oct. 13.
Upon arrival, Lloydminster Fire Rescue members observed heavy smoke coming from the roof of the structure. Firefighters were seen cutting holes in the roof and running multiple lines of water on the blaze.

Lloydminster Community Police officers and RCMP blocked off access to the area and neighbours stated they observed numerous individuals entering and leaving what they believe to be an abandoned house.
As of 6:30 p.m., crews were still on scene and there was no word on cause or injuries.
