ATCO continues global growth

ATCO keeps rolling forward as the company announces another quarter of growth.

They announced their 2025 third-quarter adjusted earnings of $103 million, up from $91 million in the third quarter of 2024.

“What a quarter, 103 million dollars in earnings, up 13 per cent from last year,” said Katie Patrick, ATCO executive vice-president, chief financial and investment officer. “An impressive result this year is that all of our segments saw year-over-year growth.”

ATCO Structures landed a large contract from Perpetua Resources Corp. The contract will see ATCO Structures supplying and installing a 1,052-person dormitory lodge and office facilities for the Stibnite Gold Project located near Yellow Pine, Idaho.

“ATCO structures delivered another strong quarter, representing the 13th straight quarter in a row of year-over-year adjusted earnings growth,” said Adam Beatie, ATCO Structures president.

They were also awarded contracts to provide space rental and workforce housing solutions in the United States, Canada and Australia.

ATCO Frontec secured a position as a United States Prime Contractor on the United States Navy’s Worldwide Expeditionary Multiple Award Contract 2.1 Territorial Integrity of the United States.

Canadian Utilities invested $402 million of capital expenditures in the third quarter of 2025, of which, 95 per cent was invested in regulated utilities in ATCO Energy Systems and ATCO Australia with the remaining 5 per cent invested in ATCO EnPower.

According to ATCO, the Yellowhead Pipeline Project is on track for construction to commence in 2026. It is subject to Alberta Utilities Commission and corporate approvals.

ATCO and all its subsidiaries and affiliate companies have approximately 21,000 employees and assets of $28 billion.
