Officers responded around 5 p.m. on Feb. 26 to a report of a man trying to sell a piece of stolen jewelry at a local store. Police attended and arrested the suspect, described as a prolific offender known to police.

During a search incidental to arrest, officers located two additional pieces of jewelry that had also been reported stolen in the same investigation.
