Card of Thanks A huge thanks to the Islay Assisted Living staff and their volunteers. For years, we hadn’t seen Dad/Grandad smile and laugh like he did in there. You really made his last year better than any one of us could imagine. It was home to him and we all know how hard it was to make anything feel like home to Dad/Grandad other than the farm. We would like to thank Dr. Kerlis who Dad/Grandad trusted and appreciated. We would also like to thank Vermilion Hospital staff, Fred Sirett, Brett, Chelsey and staff at McCaw’s for their compassion towards all of our family; P.V. United Church Women for the lunch; E.H.Walter School, Chad Brundage, and everyone who made a donation in memory of Dad/Grandad.
