Lloydminster residents can treat themselves and help treat sick kids on DQ’s Miracle Treat Day.
The charity event returns for the 22nd year on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Local DQ customers can support children receiving care through the simple act of purchasing a Blizzard Treat that day at the DQ outlet on 5502-44 St.
The net proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold at the Lloydminster DQ will be donated to Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, one of 12 Children’s Miracle Network hospital foundations across Canada.
In 2023, over 3.2 million visits to children’s hospitals across Canada were supported by Miracle Treat Day.
This year, DQ Canada celebrates a milestone 40th anniversary of the partnership with Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).
Since 1984, DQ has become a top contributor to CMN with over $52 million raised in Canada to date through Miracle Treat Day and other year-round fundraising initiatives.
Every dollar donated from DQ stores goes toward medical research, innovations in treatment and care, child-centred healing spaces and more.
