The event runs from 7 to 8:30 a.m. and is meant to bring the local business community together to talk economic activity, available resources and opportunities for future growth.

It comes on the heels of a busy stretch for the city’s business community, following Small Business Week celebrations earlier this fall and continued work from the city’s economic development committee.

What’s on the morning’s agenda

Doors open with breakfast at 6:45 a.m., followed by an economic overview at 7:15 a.m. The keynote presentation is set for 7:30 a.m., with networking opportunities to follow starting at 8 a.m.

This year’s keynote speaker is Dale W. Botting, president and CEO of Botting Leadership and founder of the Global Alliance for Professional Leadership Development. Botting brings five decades of experience across business, economic development, government and leadership, and has advised more than 200 corporate clients since launching Botting Leadership Inc. in 2010.

Botting was inducted into the Canadian Business Coaches Hall of Fame in 2022 and received the University of Saskatchewan’s Alumni of Influence Award in 2026.

Beyond the keynote, attendees will have a chance to connect directly with representatives from various City departments to learn about municipal programs, services and resources available to support local businesses — a chance for owners to put a face to the departments they often deal with on paper.

Tickets and registration

Tickets are $25 per person, and advance registration is required. Registration closes Tuesday, Nov. 3, and tickets are available online through the City of Lloydminster.

The breakfast has become a fixture on the fall calendar for the Border City’s business crowd, building on the momentum from earlier coverage of the City’s economic development push this year.
