Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Lloydminster.
Strong west to northwest winds with gusts up to 90 km/h are expected today. The winds will begin to weaken by the evening.
Environment Canada says in their warning, “damage to buildings, such as to roof things and windows, may occur.”
Loose objects may be tossed and motorists, especially those in high profile vehicles, may expect hazardous driving conditions due to strong cross winds.
The wind warning is the only warning in effect for Lloydminster.
