Both Mary Brown’s Chicken locations in Lloydminster are hosting the chain’s national charity drive for youth called BDG Day—today.
The event is an annual fundraising initiative across all Mary Brown’s Chicken locations being celebrated on July 31, in support of BGD Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).
Every location nationwide will be donating $2 from each meal, feast and combo sold to support BGC Canada’s programs.
The two participating Mary Brown’s in Lloydminster are located on 5001 18 St. #101 and on 4304 40 Ave.
Donations can also be made directly through the charity or at coin donation boxes today to help create opportunities for underserved children and youth across the country.
“This marks our third year celebrating BGC Day with Mary Brown’s Chicken and we are deeply grateful for their continued support,” said Owen Charters, president and CEO of BGC Canada in a news release.
“Our shared values continue to shine bright as BGC Day helps us to create life-changing opportunities for countless children across the country.”
Since the partnership commenced, Mary Brown’s has raised $544,000 for BGC Canada, $180,000 of which was raised during BGC Day.
