The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority has lifted the fire ban for the Municipal District of Bonnyville.
The ban was lifted as of 1 p.m. July 30 for the municipal district, Summer Villages of Bonnyville Beach, Pelican Narrows, and the Village of Glendon.
The ban was first put into effect on July 10.
According to the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authorities’ website, all outdoor wood fires, including wood campfires on public land, private land, designated campgrounds, and backyard fire pits were prohibited.
As well as Barbeque charcoal briquettes, Fireworks and exploding targets.
