The Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association’s (CPCA) Logan Gorst won his second championship title at Lloydminster’s Halstead Downs on Sunday afternoon.
Two dozen teams from across Western Canada were represented during the five-day CPCA competition. Races took place at the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association.
Sunday’s dash for cash featured Logan Gorst, Danny Ringuette, DJ King and Colby Stanley, with Gorst taking the title with a clean run for a time of 1:18.50.
Although not in the final four for the season, Ryan Baptiste was the fastest wagon on Sunday with a time of 1:17.21, which helped propel him to be the quickest over the entire weekend.
The outriders’ season competition came to an end on Sunday as well. Logan Pethick was the overall season champion in the outrider division.
