Loon Lake RCMP look into serious assault

Loon Lake RCMP is asking the public for information after a serious assault occurred on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation.

On Sept. 23, at approximately 9a.m., Loon Lake RCMP received a report of a serious assault that occurred at a residence.

Officers responded along with EMS and located an injured adult male outside the residence. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital.

Loon Lake RCMP continue to investigate.

If you witnessed suspicious activity near Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation between the evening of Sept.22 and the morning of Sept. 23, please contact Loon Lake RCMP immediately at 310-RCMP (7267).
