A 92-year-old male resident of Blackfoot is dead after a motor vehicle collision on Township Road 502 east of Range Road 20.
Kitscoty RCMP responded to the incident at 4:28 p.m. on Dec. 13. It was determined the collision was between a sedan and a pickup truck. RCMP, EMS and fire services responded.
The driver of the sedan, a 92-year-old resident of Blackfoot, was deceased. The driver of the truck, however, sustained injuries and was transported to hospital in Edmonton.
The RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
