Emergency crews, including local fire and EMS, responded to the scene. Paramedics declared the 81-year-old truck driver, who was outside his vehicle during the collision, dead at the scene. Police have notified his family.
The male driver of the first car and the female driver of the second car sustained non-life-threatening injuries. However, EMS transported both to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Highway 7 was temporarily closed but has since reopened.
