Three arrested in Lloydminster following break-and-enter

RCMP in Lloydminster have made three arrests related to a break-and-enter.

On May 1, around 9 a.m., RCMP responded to a 911 call reporting a break-and-enter in progress at a business on the west end of the city.

Lloydminster RCMP members were deployed assisted by Alberta RCMP Police Dog Services and Lloydminster General Investigation section.

Once officers arrived at the scene one suspect was arrested. Two additional suspects fled the area in a vehicle striking a police vehicle during the escape.

A coordinated search led to the arrest of the two fleeing suspects a short distance awhile. In total three individuals were taken into custody.

The investigation remains ongoing an update is anticipated once charges are laid, and more information becomes available.
